The location was perfect for taking walks to nearby parks like trout park nature preserve, which is just a 5-minute walk, and exploring the fascinating artifacts at the elgin public museum only a short drive away. i loved how easy it was to soak up both nature and history during my stay.

I stayed for three nights in a King Room. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was clean. Staff were friendly and check-in was quick. Breakfast options were decent, with hot items available. The pool was nice and well-maintained. 🏊

Comfortable stay with friendly staff

I stayed for three nights in a King Room and found the bed comfortable with clean bedding. The front desk staff were friendly and check-in was quick. Breakfast had a decent selection of hot items. The pool was also nice and well-maintained. However, I think the bathroom cleanliness could use some improvement.

The King Room was decent with air conditioning and a clean shower but had some dated furniture. The coffee machine was handy, and there’s a minibar too. Staff was super friendly and check-in was quick. The breakfast had some hot items but could’ve been better. I loved the pool, it was well-kept and refreshing.

The staff was incredibly friendly, and the hotel was clean with comfortable rooms. However, I noticed a lingering cigarette smell and dim lighting in the room. There was also an unexpected $60 deposit upon arrival, but it was refunded. Overall, a decent stay for the price.

Terrible experience

The bed was super gross with stains and hair. We had bugs in the shower! Plus, the ac was blowing right on us all night. We even asked for clean pillowcases and never got them. The breakfast was okay, but I’m never returning to a place like this. Honestly, for the price, it should’ve been way better.

False advertising sums up this experience. Check-in was troublesome with unexpected deposit requests despite online claims. The room lacked basic necessities, including toiletries and functioning Wi-Fi. Noise from other guests made it challenging to get any sleep, compounded by the dirty remote control. Overall, this stay was far from what I expected.
